For almost 50 years Safariland® has produced some of the finest and most innovative products in the law enforcement industry. Safariland continues to build on that legacy by brining a new category offering to its lineup, Patrol Bikes. Safariland has teamed up with some of the most reputable brands in the bike industry to offer performance focused products.
Safariland has partnered with Kona®, one of the world’s leading all-terrain bicycle companies, to develop a cutting-edge patrol bike from the ground up. Features such as an integrated rear rack, internal cabling, and a sloping tube have been designed with the officer in mind. Safariland has also partnered with other industry leaders like Shimano®, Geigerrig®, Cycle Siren and Bell® to create that “one stop shop” for bike gear.
The current Safariland brands have also brought bike patrol specific products to the plate. Safariland Duty Gear offers seemingly weightless Steloy cuffs, and Slimline Magazine Pouches, well the Bianchi® brand produces AccuMold® and PatrolTek™ gear that are half the weight of typical duty belts and pouches. Hatch® introduces a new bike glove made for riding, and the body armor brands have armor specifically cut to adhere to the rider’s need for comfort and maximum coverage.
